Ladies-Only Adult Sunday School

• The ladies of Open Door Baptist Church have the privilege of choosing one of two adult Sunday School classes: (1) the one held in the church sanctuary for both men and women, and (2) the ladies-only one that meets each Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the classroom opposite Pastor’s office in Cooley Hall.

• Ladies, whether you are in high school or have reached your retirement years (or any age in-between), you are cordially invited to join our ladies-only Sunday School class. This is an open-discussion type of class and participation is not only welcomed, but encouraged. Our ultimate goal through our studies of the Scriptures is to develop godly characteristics (Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect – Matthew 5:48) as we strive to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29). We learn and grow together through our shared Christian experiences, as well as from the inspired Word. Our lessons are broken up into four quarters each year; lessons come from both the Old and the New Testaments. At the beginning of each quarter, participants are furnished with a schedule of the Biblical passages which will be studied each Sunday so that they may acquaint themselves with the lesson prior to class time.
